My Atari 130XE had three dead system keys, OPTION, SELECT and START. RESET worked as did every other key on the keyboard. Upon examining the 36 year-old original mylar, it looked perfect, so I wasn’t sure if the fault lay with it or not. I ordered this replacement mylar, had it installed in minutes and my 130XE’s system keys sprang to life immediately! All keys work smoothly, perfectly. This is a very high quality item and completely recommended if you have a 130 with spotty keys or just want to future proof your machine. Thank you Retronics!

My Atari 130XE had corrosion on its keyboard membrane causing numerous keys to be unresponsive. This new membrane was an exact fit and installed easily. All keys are now working as if new.
Upon ordering the item, the item was shipped immediately. I received the membrane quickly. Thanks for the excellent product and service.

My 130XE was dead and did not power up. I took apart the keyboard and saw the MYlar was completely messed up. I Googled “Atari130XE mylar” and the 8-Bit Classics website came up. I was overjoyed to find they sold the Mylar I was looking for. I ordered it and when it came, I installed it. I was so happy when the 130XE came back to life. I tested it out on a Sharp Monitor. The screen came up and I tested the keyboard. Everything worked. I could not be happier. 8-bit Classics will be a place I will come to a lot for anything related to an Atari 8-bit machine. Thanks guys. Edward S. Baiz Jr. (aka Gamer)

After digging out our 37 year old Atari 130XE, I found that several of the keys were not responding and went on the search for some answers. After some research and watching the YouTube video posted in the description of the replacement mylar here on 8-Bit Classics, We were confident we had found the problem. The New Mylar showed up quickly in a durable shipping tube and In less than a half hour, I had replaced the old crispy keyboard mylar and BAM! The keys came back to Life! Thank you So Much 8-Bit Classics!
